Chicken Tikka

Chicken Curry

Ingredients:

  • Chicken – 1 kg without liver
  • Big Onion – 1/4 kg
  • Tomato – 1/4 kg
  • Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
  • Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
  • Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder – 8tsp
  • Coriander leaves – little
  • Curry leaves – little
  • Ground Coconut paste – 5 tsp
  • Capsicum – 1
  • Oil – 4 -5 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pressure pan.
  2. Fry Onion till golden brown.
  3. Add curry leaves ,ginger- garlic paste and fry till the paste turns light brown in colour.
  4. Add Tomato and fry in medium flame till it gets cooked.
  5. Add Chilli powder, Pepper powder , Coriander Powder, Cumin Powder, Garam Masala and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add Chicken pieces and fry for 1 minute.
  7. Close the pressure pan and allow 3 whistles to come.
  8. Add coconut paste and little water if required and allow it to boil for 2 minutes.
  9. Cook in medium flame for 5 minutes or till the chicken is cooked.
  10. At last add coriander leaves and serve.
