Chilli Chicken Masala

Ingredients:
- Chicken – ¾ kg
- Clove – 1
- Cinnamon – ½ inch
- Oil – 5 tbsp
- Big Onion – 2 big size chopped
- Tomato – 2 big size chopped
- Ginger-Garlic paste – 2¼ tbsp
- Curry Leaves – 2
- Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
- Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves – little to garnish
- Water for cooking the meat
Method:
- Heat oil in a kadai.
- Add cinnamon, clove and fry for few seconds.
- Add onion, curry leaves and fry till the onion turns golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and fry till it turns brown in colour and the raw smell goes away.
- Add tomato and fry till it is cooked.
- Add Turmeric Powder, Chilli powder and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the chicken, salt and cook in medium flame for 5 minutes.
- Now add water required to cook the meat.
- Close the vessel and leave it in low flame till the meat is cooked.
- When the meat is cooked, increase the flame to high and fry till the gravy becomes thick.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
