Fried Bread Upma

Ingredients:
- Bread – 5 slices
- Egg – 2 (optional)
- Milk – 1/4 cup
- Big Onion – 3 big size
- Tomato – 3 big size
- Curry leaves – 2
- Turmeric Powder – 2 pinches
- Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Tomato Sauce – 1/2 tsp
- Green Chilli Sauce – 1/2 tsp
- Soya Sauce – 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Method:
- Remove the hard sides of the bread slices.
- Cut the bread slices into small cubes.
- Beat the eggs and mix milk with it.
- Dip the bread cubes in egg mixture and fry them in oil (ghee can also be used). Keep it aside.
- If you don’t want to use egg dip the bread cubes in milk ,squeeze out excess milk and fry them.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Fry onion till golden brown.
- Add curry leaves and fry for 1 minute.
- Add tomato and fry till it is cooked.
- Add turmeric powder and chilli powder. Fry till raw smell goes.
- Add the fried bread cubes.
- Add all the sauces and fry for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
